WorkCover Injury Checks to Support Recovery

Clarence Town Healthcare provides general practice services for patients with work-related injuries, including assessment, management, and documentation to support WorkCover and third-party claim processes. Our doctors conduct clinical assessments and provide evidence-based management for a range of workplace injuries and conditions, with appropriate referral where clinically indicated. The aim is to support patients in their recovery and return-to-work process.

Coordination of records for workers' compensation between employers, insurers, case managers, and rehabilitation providers

Management of workplace medical incidents where clinically appropriate

  • WorkCover consultations are billed at WorkCover-approved rates.
  • Patients are required to pay the consultation fee upfront and may claim reimbursement from their insurer.
  • Additional reports and case conferences required by treating doctors may be billed directly to the relevant insurer where applicable.
  • Standard consultations are not billed to insurance companies; payment is required on the day of your appointment.
  • When scheduling an appointment, please indicate whether it is for a workers' compensation matter or involves a third party.

Please note that Medicare does not cover consultation fees for services associated with workers' compensation or third-party claims.
