Biography
Dr Abdelhamid Aboelsoud is an Australian-registered General Practitioner with previous clinical experience in general practice, surgery, and ear, nose and throat (ENT) medicine. He has been working as a GP in Australia since July 2024 and currently consults at Wallsend Medical Practice and Clarence Town Medical Centre. His clinical work includes providing general practice services to individuals and families across a range of age groups.
His clinical interests include chronic disease management, preventive health, men’s and women’s health, paediatrics, mental health, Indigenous health, and minor procedures such as skin checks, lesion excisions, and suturing. He has previous clinical experience in ENT and surgical settings, including assessment of ear, nose and throat conditions and acute presentations. Dr Abdelhamid holds current certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Dr Abdelhamid completed his medical degree in 2009 and later obtained a Master’s Degree in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT). He has worked in hospital and clinic settings in Egypt and Saudi Arabia before relocating to Australia, where he completed the PESCI and AMC Clinical Examination and obtained AHPRA General Registration. His practice is informed by evidence-based medicine and consideration of individual patient circumstances.
