Health Assessments
Health assessments are general practice consultations that support the early identification of health risks, particularly for patients who may be at increased risk of chronic conditions. Adults aged 45 to 49 may be eligible for a health assessment, which is conducted by a doctor based on individual clinical circumstances. An assessment may include a review of medical history, lifestyle factors, and relevant examinations or investigations where appropriate. Following the assessment, your doctor may discuss findings and outline suitable next steps in line with current clinical guidelines.
Health assessments may support:
- Review of medical history and lifestyle factors
- Identification of health risks
- Preventive health advice
- Access to referrals, allied health services, or management plans where clinically indicated
