Services

Children’s Health

We provide medical care for children from birth through adolescence, supporting their growth, development, and overall wellbeing. Our GPs assess and manage a range of common childhood health concerns in a supportive and professional environment. We also work with parents to provide guidance on developmental milestones, ongoing health conditions, and nutrition, helping families make informed decisions about their child’s health. Our focus is on accessible, patient-centred care for every stage of childhood.

Healthy Kids Assessment

The Healthy Kids Assessment is a general practice health check provided by our doctors to support a child’s health and development. The assessment is based on the child’s age and individual circumstances and may involve a review of key areas of health. Where appropriate, our doctors may discuss observations with parents or carers and provide guidance or follow-up as needed.

Healthy Kids Assessment

As part of a Healthy Kids Assessment, the review may include:

A practice that treats you like a person, not a file

General practice at its best is a conversation, not a checklist. Our doctors start every visit with a proper look at what is going on for you, ask questions rather than assume, and then work with you on a plan you actually understand.

Where a condition needs ongoing attention, we coordinate the
follow-up. Where a specialist opinion is needed, we refer to people we know and trust. Where reliable information will help you at home, we point you to it. The aim is simple: you leave knowing what is happening with your health and what comes next.

Family GP Visits Without the Bill Shock

Cost is one of the biggest reasons people put off seeing a doctor. That's why standard and long GP consultations at Clarence Town Healthcare are now bulk billed for patients with a valid Medicare card. Come in when you need to, not when the bill feels bearable.
